Terms of Service
Effective the date of publication. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and ThePointsPro LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“The Points Pro,” “we,” “us”).
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using The Points Pro, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclosures. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. What the service is
The Points Pro is an informational tool that helps you compare rewards credit cards and estimate their value based on public card data and the information you provide. It is not a bank, lender, broker, or financial, tax, legal, or credit advisor, and it does not apply for cards on your behalf.
3. Estimates and issuer terms
All values are estimates and are not guarantees. Card offers, benefits, fees, and terms are set and may be changed by the issuer, may vary by applicant, and are subject to the issuer’s current terms and approval. You are responsible for reviewing the issuer’s official terms before applying. See our Disclosures for details on estimates and how we make money.
4. Referral compensation
We may earn referral compensation when you apply for a card through an application link on the site. This never affects our rankings or estimates, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any card issuer. See our Disclosures.
5. Paid plans and billing
The core tools are free. Optional paid plans (currently called Navigator) add convenience features such as email reminders and unlimited card tracking. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Subscriptions. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal linked from your preferences; you keep plan features until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further charges are made.
- Free trials. Where a trial is offered, you are not charged until the trial ends, and canceling during the trial costs nothing.
- Founder's Passport. A one-time purchase that provides access to the paid plan's features for as long as The Points Pro operates the service. It is not a subscription and never renews. It is a purchase of service access only: it does not provide equity, ownership, revenue participation, or any other investment interest in ThePointsPro LLC.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices; changes to a subscription price take effect at your next renewal, with notice.
- Downgrades. If your paid access ends, your data is kept: cards over the free plan's limits stop being actively tracked but are never deleted by a downgrade.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; contact us at legal@asktpp.com and we will try to sort out anything that seems unfair.

5a. Companion profile linking
Some plans include the ability to link one other profile as a Companion by invitation. Linking shares limited wallet information between the two profiles as described in our Privacy Policy. You may only invite an email address you have permission to contact, and only the owner of the invited address may accept. Companion linking never transfers card ownership, does not create joint accounts, and does not permit sharing of login credentials. Either linked person may end the link at any time, and the link may end automatically when the qualifying plan ends.
6. Intellectual property; trademarks
The site’s design, text, and original compilations are owned by ThePointsPro LLC and protected by law. Card, issuer, airline, and hotel names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify and describe the products discussed; such use does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it by unauthorized means, scrape or bulk-extract its content, or use it in violation of applicable law.
8. No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that information is complete, current, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThePointsPro LLC and its members and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its estimates or recommendations.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. We will revise the effective date above.
